About Dr. Debabrata Nandi
Blending global training with local outreach to care for every child's heart.

Dr. Debabrata Nandi is a highly regarded paediatric cardiologist based in Kolkata and Barasat, with over 12 years of specialised experience managing heart conditions in infants, children and adolescents. He is associated with RTIICS, Narayana Health and is known for his non-invasive and interventional cardiology expertise.
In his own words: "Since I was a child, I always wanted to be a doctor; in medical school, I dreamt of becoming a cardiologist — a 'Dil Ka Doctor'." Turning down a neonatology fellowship at Oxford, he chose to train in paediatric and fetal cardiology at Sydney Children's Hospital, Australia.
One of his notable cases — relieving an obstructed TAPVC in a 27-day-old, COVID-positive newborn through balloon angioplasty in the cath lab — was later featured in The Times of India.
